A statement coat is definitely a must-have for Fall/Winter this year. Check out this lady's
noir et blanc ensemble. If the checks on this coat were against purple or blue, it would fit right into the
Luella F/W 2008 show. Well,
sans leggings and the crazy hair, that is.
This coat has the essence of this year's trends - big prints, chunky buttons and belts (yes, wide belts
are back. I know. I've never been a fan of wide belts, really.) Think
Marc by Marc, his large houndstooth prints on wacky colors actually work. Cinched waist, checked. The silhouette is perfect with the belt.
